The first test at our CL15 in Argentina was successfully completed!
Big thanks to the Hanaq Group for trusting our disruptive DLE technology and giving us the opportunity to process their brine and produce high purity Lithium Chloride just a few days after launching operations in our pilot plant in Güemes, Argentina.
We tested Hanaq Arizaro salar brine during a continuous 72-hour test using our unique liquid-liquid extraction technology. The brine processed had an average Lithium concentration of 200mg/L.
Test objectives were a Li recovery >90%, and expected weight ratios were:
o Na/Li < 2
o Ca/Li < 0.15
o Mg/Li < 0.05
We achieved an impressive lithium recovery yield of 93%!
And we accomplished tremendous weight ratios:
o Na/Li < 0.185
o Ca/Li < 0.008
o Mg/Li < 0.003
Furthermore, the produced Lithium Chloride brine presents a lithium concentration of 1800 mg/l, which demonstrates the capability of Adionics’ DLE technology to concentrate the lithium 9 times without any forced evaporation.
