We at Adionics are proud to contribute to the development of the very first lithium production unit in the United States using an existing industrial by-product brine (potash process). As part of the Joint Development Agreement (JDA) for the White Silver Project, signed with the American companies Intrepid Potash and Aquatech, Adionics brings its expertise in direct lithium extraction (DLE) using its unique supramolecular liquid liquid process.
Adonics’ technology demonstrates lithium extraction achieving an excellent rate (92.9%) from Intrepid Potash process effluent. It also avoids co extraction of unwanted elements such as boron or magnesium, ensuring the production of lithium chloride with an outstanding purity of 99.5%.
The recent Technical Report Summary published by Intrepid Potash confirms the long term viability of the White Silver Lithium Project, which aims to produce 5,000 tons per year of battery grade lithium carbonate at the Intrepid Potash facility in Wendover, Utah.
This project enables a sustainable use of this resource for more than twenty years, while demonstrating the strategic potential of Adionics’ direct lithium extraction technology for an efficient and resource friendly lithium production in USA.
